CPBigwood has won a first managing agents contract with Midland property investors and developers Grevayne Properties.
The commercial management team will be looking after a parade of nine shops at Shrieves Walk, off Sheep Street, in Stratford-upon-Avon.
And the plan is to make it even more of an attraction to tourists than it is at present.
Les Balla, director of commercial management at CPBigwood, said the units included clothes and gift shops along with a jeweller and café.
He said: “It is a modern development in a prominent location and very central in the town.
“It needs to be as inviting as possible to both passing trade and tourists. We held a meeting with the tenants and it was something which they rightly raised.
“We are currently formulating a marketing plan that is likely to include a focus on better signage, and we are confident we can help the traders further capitalise on the fact that Stratford is such a magnet for tourists.”
Shrieves Walk is in close proximity to major theatres and riverside walks.
“We think it has been a bit of a gem,” said Mr Balla. “It simply needs some tender loving care.”
Grevayne Properties, a vehicle of the Coombs family, who have long played a major role in the business life of the Midlands, was established in 1972.
It has its headquarters in Stratford and is now a multifaceted property company operating in the commercial, development and investment sectors.
