Innes England has promoted associate director, Ben Taylor, to a director, following his success in managing high-profile retail clients across the East Midlands.
Ben has worked at the commercial property consultancy since 2011, where he initially headed up its retail agency team in Nottingham.
Over time, the firm has transformed its structure to focus on disciplines – with teams working across its Derby, Leicester and Nottingham offices collaboratively in their respective work streams, delivering the best service to its clients.
Ben said on his promotion: “I’m delighted to have been given this opportunity to progress. The retail scene is constantly changing, and with a remit that covers not only the East Midlands, it makes for an active and highly rewarding job.
“During my time at Innes England I have enjoyed working with our many existing clients as well as attracting new ones, both on the landlord and occupier sides.
“Becoming a director within the agency team, brings with it a real sense of pride, as you become a figurehead of the firm. I am proud to have stepped into this role and look forward to the work and challenges ahead.”
Tim Garratt, managing director at Innes England, said: “Ben has been an integral part of our team and his continued hard work has been vital to the growth of the agency side of the business. His wealth of experience is a real asset to the business and to the clients we advise in the retail sector.
“This promotion recognises Ben’s continued work in bolstering our retail agency team’s portfolio, where he has continued to attract retailers and property owners to work with us.”
In his role, Ben works to support clients across the region including: Greggs, Heron Foods, The Co-operative Group, Conviviality Retail, Aviva Investors, NKD, Omni Developments and Schroders.
