Ryden is expanding its new London office by adding Project & Building Consultancy services to the existing Investment and Asset Management services delivered by the local team. The firm’s London office was opened in December 2016 following a merger with London-based agents Mason Philips.
The Project & Building Consultancy team’s growth strategy in London and the South of England is being partner-led by Andrew Cliff, with Charlotte Pinfold, who was previously located in Ryden’s Leeds office and has 10-years’ building consultancy experience, relocating to its London office.
Ryden has invested significantly in its Project & Building Consultancy services over the past two years, including the recruitment of a senior team of specialist Project Managers. This has produced a turnover increase of 78% from 2013 to 2016 within that sector of the firm’s business.
The group has also doubled its number of building surveying instructions in England in the last 12 months. Recent projects secured in the South of England include a major roofing project for the Cumberland Hotel, London and an external repair scheme to the Holiday Inn Hotel, Brighton.
Bill Duguid, Managing Partner at Ryden, said:
“This is a natural move into London and the South of England for our Project & Building Consultancy service and forms part of Ryden’s overall strategy for growth in the UK. In recent years the needs of our clients in London and the South of England have been increasing and our new London office offers the base to grow our business in the region. Ryden now provides Project & Building Consultancy advice to all areas of the UK and I am delighted that Charlotte has accepted this exciting new challenge as she is already held in high regard by our clients in England.”
