The Property Management team from the Midlands office of leading real estate adviser GVA has been appointed to Birmingham’s landmark 54 Hagley Road.
The 140,000 sq ft building is situated on one of Birmingham’s main arterial routes and is home to the Secretary of State and a number of professional services businesses.
The team will provide a full range of property and facilities management and accounting services to the building, reviewing the service charge and ensuring that tenants are receiving the highest levels of customer service.
Guy Thompson, Senior Director, PMC, said: “Birmingham’s growing reputation as a leading business destination is underpinned by the quality of the office stock available.
“Increasingly, this goes beyond the bricks-and-mortar and includes intangibles such as the welcome that is received from the front-of-house staff, the facilities on offer to occupiers and the value for money that they receive through their service charges.
“This appointment is a great opportunity to review the services that are currently on offer at 54 Hagley Road and ensure that it is delivering the best possible customer experience.”
GVA was appointed by asset managers, Opus Land and Palmer Capital.
Richard Smith, Opus Land, said: “We want to ensure our client and their customers receive the very best management service from a locally-based team and having worked with Guy and the wider GVA team on a number of other projects, we feel that they are well placed to provide the highest level of service.”
Alongside the offices which are spread over two wings, 54 Hagley Road also has a ground floor café which is open to the public.
Alongside 54 Hagley Road, GVA provides property management services for Assay Studios on Newhall Street, the Brindleyplace Estate and Birch Coppice Business Park near Tamworth.
