Internally on the ground floor there is the main bar, restaurant and commercial kitchen with three/four bedroom owners accommodation to the ground and first floors.

The Shipwrights Arms has the advantage of its own private slipway straight onto the river and a car park for the owners and patrons.

The actual successful purchase was completed over a relatively short period of time and was eventually sold to a local investor that wishes to retain it as a licensed premises serving the local community and visitors alike. It was a great shame when the pub closed its doors at the end of last season and we are very pleased to have been able to conclude the sale in time for an Easter opening which is the aim of the new owners, after a short period of refurbishment. Plans are afoot to fully refurbish the pub in the winter off season“.
