Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Ritesh Ramchandani as Partner in its EMEA Debt & Structured Finance team in London.
Bringing more than 15 years of real estate capital markets experience, Ritesh will bolster the team’s capabilities to source, structure and secure financing of real estate transactions for clients across the business and continue growing the European structured finance operations across its capital markets practice.
Ritesh has a proven track record in banking, structured finance and private equity investments from his prior spells at Standard Chartered Bank, GE Capital and most recently at Landmark Partners.
James Spencer-Jones, Head of Debt and Structured Finance EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Ritesh has a breadth of experience and expertise in structuring complex transactions on a wide variety of asset classes and across jurisdictions, which will be instrumental to our continued growth of the business and to delivering real value for our clients. We are delighted to welcome Ritesh on board.”
The further senior hire forms part of Cushman & Wakefield’s continued drive for growth of its Debt and Structured Finance division. Last year James Spencer-Jones was appointed head of its European finance-focused operations, bringing together various existing business units and overseeing closer alignment across the region with the firm’s strengths in US markets. This latter point was underscored when the industry’s leading capital markets team, Doug Harmon, Adam Spies and Kevin Donner, joined from Eastdil Secured.
Ritesh Ramchandani, Partner, said of his appointment: “I’m delighted to have joined Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA debt and structured finance team at such a time. It’s a fast-growing business within an established, highly-regarded and dominant player in the global real estate industry.”
