Allied Glass, the premium glass packaging manufacturer, is moving to new premises at Wakefield Europort, the region’s leading logistics and distribution centre.
Allied Glass has taken the 189,142 sq ft Eurohub facility, located on California Way, on a 10-year lease. The newly refurbished property, which includes 176,013 sq ft of warehouse space and 13,129 sq ft of office space, will be primarily used for bottle decoration and storage.
Allied Glass design, develop and manufacture premium glass packaging for leading brands in the food and drinks sector.
Commenting on the move, Jonathon White, industrial agent at Leeds-based property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall said, “We are pleased to have secured this great facility for Allied Glass. I have no doubt that the Eurohub premises, located at the heart of such an established distribution centre, will be a fantastic home for the business as it continues to grow.”
Wakefield Europort is located at Junction 31 of the M62. Its other occupiers include DHL, TJX Europe (TK Maxx), Argos, ASDA, Kuehne & Nagel, Warburtons, Royal Mail, 3663 and One Stop.
