A private investor has bought a collection of retail units in north Warwickshire.
The buyer has purchased the units at 2-8 Leicester Street, Bedworth, for £850,000 at a yield of around 9.5 per cent.
BetFred, the Salvation Army and Spencer’s Interiors – Bedworth’s longest established retailer – are all tenants within the units on varying lease lengths.
The properties, which have a total area of just over 8,000 sq ft, are situated within the town centre, close to a large Tesco store and a Costa outlet.
The deal was concluded through D&P Holt, which has also retained the management contract on the building.
Luke Hedderwick, of D&P Holt, said: “We are very pleased to conclude this deal and it represents a very good investment on behalf of the purchaser.
“It’s a testament to our work here that we have also retained the management of the property and, therefore, it should mean a seamless transition for the tenants, who all have several years to run on their leases here.”
