Harris Lamb has overseen the letting of two Smethwick industrial units to a mattress manufacturer, completing the deal within ten days of solicitors being instructed.
Sleep Revolution Ltd has taken on units three and four at Booth Street on a 10-year lease at £80,000 per annum.
Alex Eagleton, of Harris Lamb’s Agency department, said the continuing industrial stock shortage in the region, along with its excellent motorway access links, had led to the deal being completed very swiftly.
“These units are located in an established industrial area, just a mile away from Junction 1 of the M5. That, combined with its significant floor-space, made it an ideal address to site a manufacturing and distribution centre.
“Sites of this calibre are currently in very short supply, and we quickly identified the tenant for our client, landlord Students Stay Ltd, and ensured clear lines of communication between both sets of solicitors in order to meet the objectives of both the landlord and the new tenants.
“The whole process was extremely efficient and within ten days of solicitors being instructed, the lease had been agreed and signed.
Sleep Revolutions Ltd has relocated to Booth Street from its former premises in Edgbaston.
