Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has expanded to keep pace with a growing workload with the appointment of its first Director of Building Surveying Services and a Graduate Trainee.
Mark Davies joins the Chartered Surveyors practice, which has offices in Worcester, Bromsgrove and Droitwich, as Director of Building Surveying Services from Ipswich-based Concertus Property Consultants where he was Head of Building Surveying.
Mr Davies has more than 20 years building surveying experience and is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Building. At GJS Dillon he will work closely with Director Jonathan Mountford, providing advice and costings for new developments, refurbishment schemes, office and warehouse fit outs, and planned maintenance schedules. He will also provide project management services.
Beverley Stamps joins GJS Dillon as Graduate Surveyor. She has a first class honours degree in Estate Management from Reading University and considerable local knowledge of the Worcestershire property industry having worked as a trainee surveyor in the area for the past nine years. At GJS Dillon Ms Stamps will work in each department to gain the necessary experience to pass her APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) and qualify as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Mr Mountford says: “Mark and Beverley will provide much needed resources at a time when the demand for all our services, particularly building surveying services is growing. They will help us to move closer to our goal of being the first choice for all property advice among the Worcestershire business community.”
