Acting on behalf of Salmon Harvester Properties/NFUM, Alder King has let the entire third floor of 2 Glass Wharf on Bristol’s Avon Street to Foot Anstey.
The law firm, which has enjoyed significant growth and client demand, will expand to the new office in early summer.
The move will provide the practice with 16,654 sq ft of new Grade A office accommodation in the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, overlooking the Floating Harbour. They will join other high profile occupiers PwC and Arcadis at the 98,500 sq ft landmark building.
The letting means there is just 25,000 sq ft of office space remaining, spread over one and a half floors. It follows the recent 107,000 sq ft pre-letting of the adjoining 3 Glass Wharf by Salmon Harvester to HM Revenue & Customs.
Rorie Henderson of Salmon Harvester said: “We’re delighted to welcome another professional services occupier of this calibre to the property and, based on other ongoing discussions, we are confident that the building will be fully let shortly.”
John Westwell, Managing Partner at Foot Anstey, said: “Our new Bristol space will support our strategy to provide a client-centric service. It is built on a period of sustained growth, particularly within our core sectors, and will facilitate further expansion.”
Simon Price, head of agency at Alder King, who acted for Salmon Harvester/NFUM, said: “Bristol’s professional services firms are amongst the most active sectors taking office accommodation in Bristol. The supply of immediately available Grade A office space is now reducing rapidly and competition for the best space is growing. We’re delighted to have helped secure a series of prestigious lettings at both 2 and 3 Glass Wharf on behalf of our client.”
Ian Wills, director at JLL who represented Foot Anstey in the transaction, said: “This strategic move to 2 Glass Wharf will provide Foot Anstey with an excellent platform for continued growth, as well as access to a growing range of public transport and leisure amenities within close walking distance.”
Foot Anstey agreed a new 15 year lease but the terms remain confidential.
