Gap – General All Purpose Plastics Ltd – is opening a new depot in Cardiff.
The company, which manufactures and distributes PVC-U building products, has signed a 10 year lease on the 5,168 sq ft Unit 3 at Regent Trade Park.
Robert Wardell of Kershaw & Son, which represented GAP in the transaction, said: “GAP Cardiff will become the 43rd depot in the network. Both new and existing customers already in the area can expect to see a fitter-friendly trade counter which showcases the company’s range of PVC-U building products, Rockdoors, windows, rooflines and bi-fold.”
Landlord CBRE Global Investors was represented in the transaction by commercial property consultant Knight Frank and Bilfinger GVA.
Neil Francis, partner in the industrial agency team at Knight Frank in Cardiff said: “Regent Trade Park is a high profile, prominent development within Ocean Park, providing 12 quality units that provide a modern one-stop trade park for showroom and trade counter operations.
“It is now fully let for the first time in a number of years.”
Tom Merrifield, director of Bilfinger GVA, added: “Existing trade occupiers on the estate include Tool Station, Benchmarx Kitchen & Joinery, Euro Car Parts, Grahams and Greggs.”
