International property consultant Gerald Eve, which operates in the UK, Europe and major US markets and has an annual turnover of £54.3m, has renewed its lease in 35 Kings Hill Avenue. Its Client Accounting division is based there, providing services in connection with business rates payments and property management finance.
“From this office we produce budgets, forecasts and financial statements for clients, including AJ Gallagher, BP, Costa, Halfords, Heathrow Airport, KFC, Superdrug and WH Smith to name but a few,” said partner Andrew Rudd. “We also process payments in excess of £1.5billion annually, so it is an important part of the business.
“We wanted to stay at Kings Hill because it offers a highly landscaped contemporary workplace, with good connections to London and motorway links. It is also convenient for our staff and provides a good range of on-site retail and leisure amenities.”
The firm moved to Kings Hill in 2004, taking a small office in Churchill Square with just three staff. It moved into larger offices in 2011 and 28 staff are now based there.
“In the 12 years since Gerald Eve moved here there have been a lot of positive changes at Kings Hill with many more shops, restaurants and leisure amenities,” said Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust. “We are delighted that they have decided to stay here and hope they will remain with us for many years to come.”
Altus Group, Hanover Green and Knight Frank acted for the landlord.
