The Bristol office of global real estate company Colliers International has announced the promotion of three members of staff as part of 16 promotions across its UK operations.
Ben Jones, who leads the Holiday Parks team, has been appointed to the position of Director. He is one of five senior staff at Colliers International to be elevated to Director in the UK in the latest round of promotions, and is the only one from outside London.
Mr Jones studied at Aberdeen University, gaining a Master’s degree in Land Economy. He joined the Sports, Parks and Marinas team at Colliers International in 2006 as a graduate, and was made an Associate Director in 2012.
His latest promotion makes him one of 17 directors in the Bristol office of Colliers International in Templeback.
Tom Watkins, of the Industrial & Logistics team, has been made a Senior Surveyor in the promotions. Mr Watkins joined the Bristol office of Colliers International in 2014 as a graduate surveyor from the University of the West of England, after completing a sandwich year with the Industrial & Logistics team in 2012 as part of his degree in Business in Property.
George Yates joined the office in 2016 as a graduate planner and has recently passed his MRTPI and has been promoted to Planner.
Tim Davies, head of the Bristol office of Colliers International, said: “These promotions are a reflection of the high professional standards in the Bristol office, and in particular of the impressive levels of expertise and commitment that Ben, Tom and George bring to their respective roles. Most pleasingly, all three joined Colliers as graduates so it’s really satisfying when we see developing home-grown talent.
“Their promotions enhance the depth of offering that the team at the Bristol office provides for clients, and strengthens our position in the commercial property sector across the South West and South Wales.”
