To welcome in the New Year, developers of Ivanhoe Business Park at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, CWC Group and their agents Tim Gilbertson of FHP and Phil Randle at Salloway are pleased to announce the first three deals completed at Ivanhoe Business Park.
CWC Group took the excellent decision to embark upon speculative construction of seven trade counter units in early 2016 which were completed just before the Christmas break. All seven built were swiftly put under offer, two on a leasehold basis and five sales and now the first three deals have completed as we enter the New Year.
Development Director of CWC Group, James Richards, commented:
“Since its inception Ivanhoe has been a terrific site for us and has seen a range of deals concluded with both manufacturing and distribution occupiers together with office companies and ancillary uses such as vets and children’s day nursery.
The ongoing success of the park gave us the confidence to speculatively construct these trade counter units in 2017 and our decision to build seven units has been completely vindicated by the deals our agents have brought.
With the units now complete, the first three deals provided an excellent start to 2017 as we have handed over keys to both local and national occupiers in the shape of Toolstation, Screwfix and Agadon.
The four remaining units are under offer and completion of those deals will occur within the next few weeks and we look forward to confirming details of the other occupiers on site shortly.
Our attention has now turned to the speculative construction of various offices on the remaining land within the park and these are due for practical completion later in 2017 and interest is sought from potential occupiers looking to purchase or rent space.”
Agent for the scheme Tim Gilbertson commented:
“It was great seeing these buildings speculatively constructed by our clients and the confidence we had as agents in bringing new occupiers to the scheme has been vindicated by the first three deals completing this month and with the four remaining units due for exchange of contracts shortly.
We have managed to encourage a range of local and national companies to the site and we have no doubt that these trade counters will serve the occupiers well and indeed be a further asset in this flourishing location.
As mentioned earlier, our clients are now embarking upon speculative construction of various offices on the remaining land within the site to meet ongoing demand and I would be delighted to hear from any potential occupiers seeking to buy or rent prime office space at this superb location.
We have seen new occupiers come from all surrounding towns and Cities, plus relocations within Ashby itself, all keen to take advantage of the superb working environment we can offer and excellent transport links whilst remaining within moments access of the centre of Ashby itself.
Hopefully 2017 will continue to be as successful as the previous years on the park.”
