Acting on behalf of South England Investments Ltd, CBRE’s Liverpool Office Agency team and joint agent Hitchcock Wright and Partners, have confirmed a new letting at Honeycomb to 1st Legal Marketing. The company has taken office accommodation on part of the second floor comprising 749 sq ft.
The latest letting adds to a string of new deals completed in late 2016 following the recent transformation and rebrand of Helix and Honeycomb, two major Liverpool office buildings.
This deal confirms the Honeycomb building is now 75% occupied with only three suites remaining, one of circa 750 sq ft, a ground floor suite of 2,334 sq ft and the top floor suite with private roof terrace. Accommodation is currently available to let at £13 per sq ft.
Located on Old Hall Street in Liverpool’s Central Business District, the two adjacent buildings offer a total 40,603 sq ft of office accommodation. The properties have recently undergone a major refurbishment with the completed office buildings offering tenants contemporary office accommodation along with showers, a roof garden, bike storage, a breakout area and meeting spaces. Existing tenants include Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, Matthews & Goodman, HitSearch, Talento Recruitment, RM Burke, Unity Print, The Law Society, Georgia Design and Haskoning UK.
The properties are situated close to Moorfields train station which connects to Liverpool Lime Street. Nearby occupiers include Hill Dickinson, RSA, Travelodge Central, Fazenda, Starbucks, Liverpool, Daily Post & Echo and Radisson Blu.
Andrew Byrne, Associate Director at CBRE’s Liverpool office, said;
“The latest letting to 1st Legal Marketing confirms the continuous occupier demand at Honeycomb and Helix. The investment into upgrading and rebranding the offices has proven to be hugely successful and we are continuing to see occupiers attracted to the building due to the unique and exciting concept offered.”
Daniel Ronan, Director, from 1st Legal Marketing, added;
“We are delighted to take up tenancy at the recently refreshed Honeycomb building. The upgraded property will provide our employees with a host of modern amenities coupled with an excellent location in the heart of Liverpool’s Central Business District.”
