Automotive giant Rolls-Royce is the latest big name to sign up to revolutionary social media recruitment website staffbay.com.
The news comes just days after Derby-based engineering firm Assystem – which works closely with Rolls-Royce in the city – revealed it was looking to recruit 300 experienced engineers and graduates to help it keep up with demand.
For Elliot Kidd, co-founder of staffbay.com, the news that Rolls-Royce have signed up to the jobs website is an indication that the way blue chip employers are looking for new talent is changing.
“Rolls-Royce is one of the biggest employers in the area, and we’re delighted that the company has seen the potential of Staffbay.com,” said Elliot.
“We’re used to dealing with big names such as the RAC, Nationwide, Everest and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club – all of whom have been searching staffbay.com for top talent.”
Instead of expensive fees for adverts and database searches with no guarantee of success for employers, staffbay.com allows free vacancy advertising and free candidate database searches.
Rather than limiting candidates to an uploaded CV, Staffbay.com provides a simple to use career profile builder including videos, messaging, webcam Skype chat and a whole lot more for employers to review, all designed to help candidate and employer get to know more about each other, and that’s all before you even consider dedicating time, effort and travel to physical interviews.
“With youth unemployment at record levels it’s now more vital than ever to make the right impression with prospective employers,” added Elliot.
“We hope the continued success of Rolls-Royce and its supply chain will mean that many more candidates will find the perfect job for them by using staffbay.com.”
