Twenty-six new jobs have been created at Rombourne’s new Taffs Well business centre development in the six months since it opened.
Businesses from all over south Wales have been created or have relocated to the 16,000 sq ft mixed-use workspace due to its excellent transport links to the M4, proximity to Cardiff city centre and easy access to the rail network.
To celebrate the job creation the new business year, Rombourne is hosting its first networking event at the workspace.
Steve Myers, estates manager at Rombourne, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the site at Taffs Well. When planning this development, we knew there was a shortage of affordable, quality offices and workshops in the area and so to see so many thriving businesses settling in is wonderful.
“When you have joint office space you also form a community, and so we thought what better way to celebrate our six-month birthday and the creation of so many new jobs by getting everyone together for a networking event.”
The event is sponsored by Number Hub, an accountancy and professional service firm, which has chosen the site at Moy Road as part of its ongoing expansion. Rose Innes Design, another new tenant at Moy Road, is hosting a business model canvas workshop at the event.
Founder and CEO of Number Hub, Marsha Ward, said: “Thanks to the support of Rombourne, we have settled really quickly into our new offices and having been here for just four months, have already created two more posts.
“Number Hub is pleased to be sponsoring this Zokit networking event and hope that our community of businesses will be able to collaborate together. We’re also keen to welcome new businesses here so they can see the facilities and meet the great companies based here. It will be great to get us all together during an informal lunch to see if we can create even more jobs together. ”
The networking event is being held on January 25th between 12.30 and 2.30pm at Moy Road Business Centre, Taffs Well.
