Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has secured the renewal and letting of two office units at Eastgate Office Centre in Bristol, following a series of upgrades at the business park.
The national commercial property consultancy negotiated the lease renewal with data storage firm StorMagic, an existing tenant at the Centre, which is located close to IKEA just off the M32. StorMagic has also taken on an additional 2,232 sq ft unit in order to expand its operation.
LSH has undertaken a host of services at the Eastgate Centre since Broadshade Group acquired nine units in 2015, including a refurbishment programme carried out by LSH’s building consultancy team. Improvements to date include new ceilings and lighting, carpets and an upgrade of washroom facilities, while externally, signage, parking and bike facilities have been improved. LSH also carries out property management and lease advisory services for the site.
Commenting, LSH agent Roxine Foster said Broadshade Group had been committed to upgrading vacant units to a good specification since its acquisition, and enquiry levels had been high. “The Centre’s central location close to the city, excellent facilities and plenty of on-site parking make it a convenient and appealing base for companies, and StorMagic felt it was an ideal location for their business to grow,” she said.
The work undertaken by LSH for the Group demonstrated the wide range of property services that the consultancy is able to offer clients, Roxine added.
“As a commercial property specialist, LSH’s joined-up approach, working collaboratively across different teams, means it is in an excellent position to offer a 360-degree full service.”
Eastgate Office Centre comprises nine offices in two blocks. Existing tenants include the Secretary of State for the Environment and North Bristol NHS Trust.
Two recently refurbished units are available: Unit 6 is 2,321 sq ft, while Unit 7 is 2,314 sq ft.
