Andrew Arbon-Davis also re-joins JF Finnegan after 18 years, during which time his career progressed at Loach Construction & Development Limited in Nottingham, being responsible for pre construction activity. Andrew’s new role at JF Finnegan is Senior Estimator and his vast experience is a welcome addition to the pre construction team.
James Stobbs joins as Senior Quantity Surveyor. The team expansion follows a series of successful projects for JF Finnegan in 2016, including completion of a £7M contract to build the 103 bedroom Hampton by Hilton Oxford hotel and the transformation of two historic mill buildings into 75,000 sq ft of new offices at the established Dean Clough development in Halifax, West Yorkshire. In September the company was awarded a £3.5M design and build contract by Harworth Estates to create a new scheme of speculatively developed manufacturing units, totalling 52,000 sq ft, at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Waverley, Rotherham.
Gary Smith, Managing Director at JF Finnegan, said, “It is an exciting time to expand the business, as we approach the new and varied projects in the pipeline for the forthcoming months. We bolstered our client base in 2016 and delivered impressive schemes, including a private membership club for Costco UK next to Wembley Stadium and industrial units for Ackroyd & Abbott in South Yorkshire and a new Sheffield headquarters for Westfield Health. We enter 2017 with a positive outlook for the 12 months ahead and are delighted to be welcoming both familiar and new faces to the JF Finnegan team.”
