Cushman & Wakefield has created a new team that will be the firm’s EMEA focal point for opportunities relating to changing service delivery platforms and processes.
The Transformation Team will report directly to John Forrester, Chief Executive EMEA. Its chief objectives will be to identify disintermediation and disruption patterns and opportunities, to assess strategic opportunities and to ensure Cushman & Wakefield is the leader of change in the real estate industry.
The team will be led by International Partner Toby Ogden who has worked extensively with major technology companies such as Apple and Facebook on aligning business and real estate strategies.
John Forrester, Chief Executive EMEA, said: “Like all industries, property faces disruption and I firmly believe that success will increasingly depend on a willingness to not just embrace change but to be responsible for it. Toby’s exposure to transformational clients and his broad understanding of our business makes him well placed to be a focal point of opportunity and response as Cushman & Wakefield leads change in our industry.”
Toby Ogden, International Partner, said: “Cushman & Wakefield has a well-deserved reputation as an industry leader in the field of technology. I’m looking forward to leading this new team to help ensure the firm across EMEA is alive to the opportunities as well as any challenges ahead.”
The team will liaise closely with Cushman & Wakefield’s senior EMEA leadership, in particular Carl Powell, EMEA Chief Information Officer as well as Juliette Morgan, Global Tech Lead. Juliette, widely recognised as a leading PropTech expert, will be providing counsel and ensuring the team has visibility and access to the newest technology, thinking and opportunities.
