Swansea Bay Business Club will be kicking off 2017 in style with a Burns Night Dinner on the 25th January at Swansea’s Marriott Hotel.
Aberdeen-born Graeme Yorston who is the current CEO of the Welsh building society, Principality, will join guests for dinner and celebrations including traditional Scottish fayre and the famous ‘address to the haggis’.
President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Hayley Davies, said: “We are delighted to be able to start 2017 with another influential figure from the business world at one of our events and as it is Burns Night, we are delighted to uphold tradition and welcome Scotsman Graeme to our evening of celebration. Graeme’s experiences from a long and successful are sure to make for a fascinating talk.”
Having worked at the Principality for eleven years and served as CEO for almost five, Graeme recently announced his plans to step down to spend more time with his wife and family.
Graeme will be discussing his career in the finance industry over the last forty years and charting his rise to becoming CEO of the largest building society in Wales and sixth largest in the UK.
Hayley continued: “As ever with our events, the dinner will also afford guests the opportunity to network with other prominent businesses from across the Swansea Bay region.”
Tickets cost £40 per member and £45.50 for non-members and are available until midnight on Tuesday 17th January from the Swansea Bay Business Club website. The cost of the ticket includes a three-course dinner.
Guests are asked to arrive at 7pm with dinner being served at 7:30 pm.
