Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office has sold a property formerly used as a hair and beauty salon at 1 Station Bridge, Yaxley, Peterborough comprising 2,189 sq ft on a 0.2 acre site to Emma and Edward Jones who are now trading as Station Bridge Veterinary Surgery.
The premises which was used as a hair and beauty salon and offices for Produce World has been converted over the last 6 weeks into a new veterinary practice.
Richard Jones director at Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office who concluded the sale commented, “The premises was ideally suited for conversion to a new vets practice. We had a lot of interest in this property. It was very much a one off building being detached, fronting Broadway and having its own dedicated car parking. Other interest came from parties looking to convert to serviced offices, reuse as a hair and beauty salon, extend for industrial use, as well as developers looking to possibly conversion to residential uses”.
Edward Jones commented “The location was ideal for our new practice. The building is now fully converted and we are now fully open for business and are having an ‘open day’ on the 28th January, for anyone who wants to come along and see what their new vet can offer them. We will specialise in small animal work and our aim is to give outstanding patient and customer care.”
