Creative and digital agency DS.Emotion is starting 2017 on a high after a record year for instructions in commercial property as the sector continues to thrive.
With more than 25 years’ sector experience, the Leeds established agency remains the ‘go to’ agency by a significant number of property developers in the UK seeking a marketing partner.
In Leeds alone during 2016 DS.Emotion has secured instructions for 20 major commercial schemes covering over six million sq ft with a combined development value of £1 billion. The majority of these instructions are for office developments where DS.Emotion has helped with positioning and branding as well as on and off line marketing support.
Instructions include the much-anticipated £96m Central Square, a landmark 218,000 sq ft scheme in Leeds which completed in September. DS.Emotion created all marketing materials across traditional and digital media channels, including the marketing environment at the building itself.
DS.Emotion is also retained to deliver marketing content for the regionally significant Thorpe Park Leeds development which is progressing phase two with 1.35 million square ft of mixed use accommodation.
Other notable instructions in Leeds include the ongoing 3 million sq ft development at Wellington Place, the £150m development at Quarry Hill, 6 Queen Street and Concordia Works.
Angus Armitage, Director at DS.Emotion said, “We’ve certainly had a busy year which has allowed us to expand significantly but when we stopped to collate just how much we were contributing to the property world in Leeds we were staggered ourselves.
“Property remains a major speciality for us, not least because of our own personal expertise and understanding of the marketplace. I think that developers come to us in the main because we continue to demonstrate creativity but also a depth of understanding about what makes a destination more than just a place to work.”
DS.Emotion was established in Leeds 25 years ago and now operates nationally with studios in London and Manchester as well as Leeds. After reporting a 30% increase in turnover the company expanded further with the acquisition of HC Advertising in London and the appointment of marketing expert Carl Hopkins as non-executive director.
The business specialises in property and place marketing and has delivered successful campaigns for destinations including Trinity Leeds, Carnaby Street London, Portman Village London and Silverstone. Key clients include Scarborough International Properties, M&G Real Estate, Rockspring, Grainger and Hill Residential.
