Harris Lamb has welcomed a new recruit to its planning team.
Alisha Paul, who graduates from Oxford Brookes University next month, joins the business’ nine-strong planning team in her first role since completing her Masters degree in City and Regional Planning.
Alisha, who lives in Wolverhampton, said: “During my time studying I have completed placements within local authorities and I was attracted to Harris Lamb because of the diversity of the work involved.
“This was a great opportunity to work with an established team with a strong reputation and a wide range of clients across the UK. Having invested heavily in its planning offering over the past 12 months, I was keen to become part of the business.”
Patrick Downes, Director of Planning for Harris Lamb, said: “Alisha’s enthusiasm for planning and her interest in working to solve problems to help clients deliver their property and development objectives made her the right candidate for the role.
“Alisha’s father is an architect and she has had an interest in the built environment from an early age. She will be a real asset to the business and we’re delighted to welcome her on board,” he added.
Earlier this year, Harris Lamb acquired Worcester-based planning specialists Malcolm Scott Consultants as part of its commitment to growing its planning offering.
Patrick added that the department will continue to recruit in 2017.
