PATRIZIA UK, the manager of Warrington’s leading business destination, Birchwood Park, has welcomed UK Hearing Care (UKHC) to Dalton Avenue.
UKHC, a national hearing aid provider, will occupy 8,685 sq ft of office space at 103 Dalton Avenue, relocating from its current premises in Cinnamon Park, Birchwood. The business has chosen Birchwood Park for its large, flexible office spaces in order to accommodate the new Audiology Centre of Excellence (COE).
Employees of UKHC will now benefit from the newly refurbished surroundings at 103 Dalton Avenue, which is just strolling distance from ‘The Centre’, which includes onsite meeting rooms, a restaurant, Starbucks, gym and communal workspaces. The quality of the building combined with the range of extra amenities and services available is designed to support staff retention and impress clients.
The new COE has been established to broaden UKHC’s offering into diagnostics and clinical ear care, and will include a full-time training facility. Also housed at the new premises will be the company’s UK Head Office and its customer support teams.
The business, which prides itself on a personalised approach to hearing care, has attracted the confidence of Age UK, securing an exclusive brand licencing agreement with the charity under the name Age UK Hearing Aids.
Mark Harwood, Group Managing Director at UKHC, commented: “We are all extremely excited to be joining Birchwood Park. It has a real campus feel that sparks a sense of community the moment you walk onto the park. We considered a few options when deciding on the move, but other locations just couldn’t compete with the combination of fantastic onsite amenities with the existing hub of innovative businesses here.
“The flexibility of the space at 103 Dalton Avenue has allowed us to establish our very first Centre of Excellence. With this space we hope to drive clinical standards and training to new and exceptional levels. As the population ages and the hearing aid retailer market accelerates accordingly, it is important that we have the training and world-class facilities at hand to be a real leader in modern, wearable hearing technology.”
Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park, added: “After a comprehensive search across the local area, we are delighted that UK Hearing Care has chosen Dalton Avenue as its new home. The flexibility on offer at Birchwood Park means we are able to offer office space that can accommodate a number of business functions, all in one place.
“Birchwood Park is home to a range of successful, innovative businesses that pride themselves on research and development. I am confident that UK Hearing Care too will be able to take advantage of this close-knit business environment and really flourish.”
