Fast-growing chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has expanded again following a recruitment drive.
Less than a month after investing in a move to its own premises in Westgate – a short distance from Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle in the historic uphill area of the city – the Lincoln firm has announced the appointment of two new Associate Directors.
James Hall and Alex Statham have joined the multi-faceted practice at a time when it is not only servicing clients across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands, but seeing its expertise in increasing demand across the UK.
James previously worked as a general practice surveyor in Nottingham and has joined the professional services team at Banks Long & Co, to deal with landlord and tenant and property management.
“I have had dealings with Banks Long in the past and knew the firm had a very good reputation, being involved in key projects in Lincoln and the wider region. Lincoln is a fast-growing city with exciting developments planned and an attractive place in which to work,” said James.
In his spare time, the father-of-two, enjoys playing tennis, running and watching sports in general.
Alex Statham has joined the Banks Long & Co team as a Project Manager and Building Surveyor.
Lincoln born-and-bred, Alex, who lives near Newark, went to Nottingham Trent University and gained a degree in building surveying before joining a Nottingham-based firm.
“I have always loved Lincoln and was keen to come back here. The city is growing fast and there are so many brilliant projects underway, including the redevelopment of the Cornhill Quarter, with which Banks Long is involved.”
In his spare time, Alex, who is a former rugby player, enjoys following the fortunes of Newark Rugby Club.
Banks Long & Co Managing Director Tim Bradford is delighted to welcome James and Alex to the 27-years-old firm, which is determined to continue delivering a top quality service to a wide range of clients.
“We are committed to growing the business through the appointment of senior surveyors, who bring a wealth of experience and allow us to maintain and improve all services to our expanding client base within the property development and professional services sectors,” said Mr Bradford.
