Leading real estate adviser GVA has strengthened its Property Management Consultancy team in the Midlands with five key appointments.
The Property Management Accounts team has welcomed Rachel Harney as an interim Director, with Miranda Joseph and Catherine Box joining at Associate level.
Rachel joins the company from DHL and brings with her a wealth of experience in shared services management and improvement and will be responsible for teams including cashiers, treasury compliance, accounts payable, utilities and credit control.
Miranda joins from Extra Energy UK with a focus on streamlining processes and workflows within the team, while Catherine has moved from Cushman & Wakefield and will be working on major client and system improvement projects.
Meanwhile the Property Management Consultancy team has grown with the appointments of Gert Corfield as an Associate and Ryan Woodcock as a Surveyor.
With over 20 years’ experience, Gert joins from Harris Lamb where he founded and developed the company’s property management service, and will be working with key national clients, focussing on the strategic property management of large business parks, new and mixed use developments and property and asset management consultancy.
Ryan Woodcock, who joins from CP Bigwood, has a remit that covers day-to-day management, occupier liaison, value enhancement and forward planning of estates.
Guy Thompson, Senior Director at GVA, said: “Despite some negative sentiment following the EU referendum, the Midlands property market is continuing to thrive with a number of new build properties due to complete shortly and a range of refurbishment and improvement works being undertaken on existing stock, such as Ardstone’s work at 1 Newhall Street.
“These appointments will also give us capacity to focus on new opportunities and ways of expanding our services, like the ‘Clarity’ portal that connects clients with their data, and our destination marketing initiative, all of which combine to build a first-class placemaking and customer services experience.”
Lisa Riva, Senior Director and Head of Property Management Consultancy at GVA comments: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues in the Midlands. They join highly successful teams who already deliver excellent services for our clients and will bring with them experience, skills and knowledge to strengthen our core teams as our growth in the region continues.”
