The parcel company Interlink Express has doubled its depot size in Redditch following a move delivered by agents John Truslove.
The franchise operation, which employs a 17-strong workforce, has taken 6,860 sq ft at Unit 7 on the io Centre in Nash Road. The business was previously located at Lakeside.
John Truslove acted for the owners. The move follows a series of similar deals handled by the Redditch commercial property experts and, as a result, the estate is now fully let.
Debbie Oxley, managing director and Interlink franchisee said the expansion reflected rising business levels, particularly internet orders.
“We have a strong reputation with businesses in the local area for providing a high quality service and a range of time sensitive delivery options.
“The new premises represent a further significant investment in the business, and will enable us to expand our operation and work more efficiently to meet the growing demand for our services,” she said.
Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “Interlink Express is a nationally recognised brand and clearly a very successful business in Redditch.
“I’m really pleased we were able to help them find larger premises. Location is key to their operation and the io Centre is ideally situated, with good access to the major local A-roads as well as the Midlands motorway network.
Interlink Express is a member of DPD group, one of Europe’s leading parcels groups, wholly owned by France’s La Poste, the second largest postal group in Europe.
