Christie & Co is delighted to announce the sale of Cozi Bistro in Glasgow’s West End.
Located on Dumbarton Road, the Cozi Bistro was well-known in the area for its fresh home baking and friendly staff, as well as the often “retro” music that was frequently heard within its walls, and was described by one TripAdviser reviewer as “Glasgow West End’s best kept secret.”
Cozi Bistro has now been sold to a group of entrepreneurs who are planning on rebranding the premises into a 100% organic cafe and takeaway.
Josh Hill, Business Agent at Christie & Co brokered the sale of Cozi Bistro and said, “After a short marketing period of less than six months, with a good level of interest we are delighted to have completed the successful sale of the business.
“The West End of Glasgow and in particular the Partick area, is showing signs of increased activity, and this was evident in the interest that we saw from multiple parties in the Cozi Bistro business. In recent months Christie & Co has sold two other similar businesses in this area, and it is clear that operators are keen to take advantage of the new student accommodation being developed close by.
“We are seeing high demand for good leasehold properties in this area, and we knew from day one that Cozi Bistro would be an attractive purchase because of the premises’ location and the favourable lease terms on offer.”
