BNP Paribas Real Estate and CB Richard Ellis have completed the letting of two floors at Cumberland House, 15-17 Cumberland Place in Southampton, to a confidential occupier. The tenant has agreed to take two floors at the newly refurbished office building comprising 7,278 sq ft on a 10 year lease.
Cumberland House is located in Southampton’s main business district, close to the railway station and the city’s amenities. The reception area, second, third, fourth and fifth floors were extensively refurbished to provide high quality modern office space. There are currently only two floors remaining, totalling 12,861 sq ft.
Nella Pang, surveyor in Southampton office agency at BNP Paribas Real Estate said: “This is one of the largest deals to take place in Southampton City Centre during the first half of 2011 and demonstrates that there are occupiers that are willing to take the right space on competitive terms.”
