Barnfield Construction have handed over a 20,000 sq ft unit on their 11.4 acre Salford business park to Rawtenstall based property developers, Alden Green, which has been pre let to Clogflower Wholesale Limited.
Barnfield Construction’s long standing clients Alden Green Commercial Property, purchased plot 1 to add to their property portfolio which they subsequently pre-let to the international flower and plant distribution business Clogflower Wholesale Limited who are a wholly owned subsidiary of CJ Vianen Flowerexport BV of Rijnsburg, The Netherlands. Clogflower are relocating from Wardley Industrial Estate and are more than doubling their size by doing so and taking out a 10 year lease on the property. Barnfield Construction’s industrial site, named Evolution, offers three further development plots where the award winning contractor and developer can deliver bespoke design and build industrial and warehouse units to occupiers. Units can be accommodated from 10,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft on either a leasehold or freehold basis.
The Evolution development was purchased from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) in 2015 and brings forward the last plots at Agecroft which has seen notable success since its creation, securing occupiers such as PZ Cussons, Securicor, Bunzl and Nimans.
