Windmill Green has been revealed as the new name for FORE Partnership’s innovative and inspiring workspace development underway at 24 Mount Street in Manchester.
The transformational real estate investment firm is moving forward with its plans to create a flexible, collaborative business community, after being granted planning approval by Manchester City Council in late August.
The announcement comes as construction work got underway this month on the entrepreneurial hub set over seven-floors across the 78,000 sq ft building. Construction is due to complete December 2017.
FORE’s plans will see the building rejuvenated to create sustainable Grade A offices, anchored by a co-working space and a crafted interior design. Windmill Green will stand out with a roof terrace and improvements to the public realm.
This prominent building, located in the heart of Manchester’s central business district, is positioned on the corner of Mount Street and Windmill Street and facing onto Manchester Central Plaza.
Basil Demeroutis, Managing Partner of FORE, said: “We believe the name Windmill Green reflects the building’s location, its heritage, its sustainability and design, as well as cementing it as a collaborative meeting place for people to live out their work-life ambitions – to collaborate, to make and to network.
“At Windmill Green we want to create a fluid and adaptive workspace that responds to the needs of today’s employees who are demanding more from their jobs.
“We will draw the best talent and bring collaborative businesses together in a hub of entrepreneurial energy in the heart of Manchester.”
FORE has been working with creative and branding agency The Neighbourhood and Sheila Bird on developing the Windmill Green brand.
Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton are the agents for Windmill Green.
