SEGRO plc (‘SEGRO’) has announced that it has completed a 5,535 sq ft letting at Westway Estate to Markus Automative Ltd, a bespoke car manufacturer specialising in the transformation of classic cars into electric powered vehicles. Westway Estate is now fully let as a result of the deal.
Westway Estate, part of the Park Royal portfolio, is located in close proximity to the A40 (Western Avenue) providing easy access to Central London and the national motorway network. The location also provides multiple public transport links with East Acton and Willesden Junction stations only a short walk away.
In addition to the completed state of the art light industrial units, the evolution of the Westway Estate continues with significant improvements to public transport with the development of a bus stand and welfare block and plans to upgrade security with the installation of CCTV and a new gatehouse to monitor and control access to the estate.
Alan Holland, Business Unit Director for Greater London, SEGRO, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Markus Automotive to Westway Estate. This letting completes the line-up of customers at the newly redeveloped estate, demonstrating the continued appetite from occupiers for well-located, modern industrial buildings close to major conurbations.”
Vadim Shagaleev, Managing Director, Markus Automotive Ltd said:
“We are extremely pleased to have worked with SEGRO to find out new home at the Westway Estate. We were looking for a large and modern space for our new site and this unit ticks all of the boxes for us.”
