The toil, sweat and tears involved in being Devon’s most active commercial property agents has once again been recognised by the industry’s leading journal.
Stratton Creber Commercial has been named “Most Active Agent” 2015-2016, for the seventh year in a row by Estates Gazette, whose award is based on the number of commercial property transactions undertaken by each firm. With a strong agency presence via offices in Plymouth and Exeter (as well as an office in Truro), Stratton Creber Commercial maintains a high profile in the office, retail and industrial sectors, as well as being active in the healthcare, motor trade and leisure sectors. The award recognises all forms of commercial property transaction including investment sales, lettings and acquisitions.
Deals transacted by the firm in the last year in Exeter alone include the acquisition of the former Goodridge Engineering premises at Exeter Airport, the sale of period offices 4 & 5 Southernhay West, the sale of 187/189 High Street (let to Yorkshire Building Society) and the sale of Exeter’s City Arcade shopping centre.
Damian Cook, Director of Stratton Creber Commercial in Exeter, comments: “This award is welcome recognition of all the hard work which has gone into deal-making over the past year. Few deals are straightforward, and we recognise that deal-making is not just about finding the right buyer or tenant, but steering the negotiations and – often most difficult of all – overcoming all obstacles which arise during legals to see the deal through.”
Apart from Stratton Creber Commercial’s agency role, it specialises in valuation, landlord and tenant negotiations, rating appeals and property management.
