The land and new homes division of Fine & Country has opened a new office in central Birmingham, its first in the city.
The consultancy firm has taken 1,238 sq ft on a ten-year lease on the ground floor of The Mailbox.
Leon Evans, managing director of the central region of Fine & Country Land and New Homes, will be based there, along with sales and investment director Marc Walker and Rebecca Doble, sales and marketing director. A further nine members of staff will be recruited to join the team.
Fine & Country Land and New Homes works with residential developers to source and acquire sites for development and to provide marketing and advice on home sales and investment.
The new premises will allow the consultancy to showcase high value new homes from around the Midlands, as well as its portfolio of national and international homes from Fine & Country’s global network of offices.
The new office is also the first in the city to offer virtual reality technology, allowing homebuyers to take a 360-degree tour of a property without even setting foot in it.
Rebecca Doble said: “Home buyers can enjoy a virtual tour of a home they are interested in from the comfort of our armchairs. It’s a great way of taking a first look at a property – particularly one that is still under development.”
Fine & Country has more than 300 branches around the globe. The Birmingham office is its seventh in the Midlands, supplementing Coventry, Leamington, Banbury, Northampton, Rugby and Solihull. An eighth office, in Stratford-upon-Avon, is opening on 24 November.
The firm was named Best International Real Estate Agency – Marketing at the International Residential Property Awards for five consecutive years.
