Wales’ largest independent commercial property specialist Cooke & Arkwright has made a number of strategic promotions on the back of strong growth in 2016.
The Cardiff-based firm has promoted five key staff to director, associate director and associate level within the firm.
Elizabeth Hill has been promoted to director of property valuation and will now be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day valuation business.
Working within the professional department, she has been one of the firm’s key valuation contacts, valuing commercial properties and development appraisals throughout Wales. Elizabeth is experienced in public sector asset valuations including universities, local authorities and government-sponsored organisations. She also provides advice to private sector organisations for accounting and strategic purposes.
Ian Hyman has been promoted to associate director and will assist director Phil Angell in developing the property management business. After joining the firm in 2007, Ian has been involved in dealing with commercial estate management encompassing properties in the office, industrial and retail sectors.
Huw Jones has been promoted to associate director and will work alongside director Andrew West providing advice on business rate assessments for clients for all types of commercial property including industrial, office and retail premises in Wales and England. He will also work within this established team in advising clients how to benefit from the upcoming 2017 rating revaluation.
Tim Lawley has been promoted to associate director of office agency and industrial agency to assist director Ben Bolton in growing the department.
Ben Davies is now associate within Cooke & Arkwright’s retail agency team and will work alongside director Huw Thomas in growing the firm’s retail client base.
