A fully-glazed penthouse office in a period building in Bristol’s landmark Queen Square has been let by Colliers International to brand consultancy Smith & Milton.
The five year lease on the 1,675 sq ft fifth floor suite at Number 10 has achieved the highest headline rent for second-hand space on the historic square.
National offices surveyor Alfie Passingham said the premises had been brought to the market on behalf of a private landlord at a quoting rent of £27 per sq ft and had attracted a high level of interest from the very first stages of marketing.
“The fifth floor is an extension to the existing building that was added around ten years ago. It provides high-specification accommodation as well as extensive views of the city,” he said.
“It is a one-of-a-kind office with full-height glazing and an exceptional outlook over Queen Square, as well as being one of the few offices in the city with a large balcony. Following a recent refurbishment, the office benefits from new LED lighting, a raised floor, shower facilities, basement car parking, and bicycle storage.”
Queen Square is one of the city’s best known landmarks and is surrounded by a wealth of amenities including restaurants, bars and hotels. Shopping facilities and Temple Meads railway station are within walking distance.
Alfie Passingham added that a 3,608 sq ft office on the second floor of 10 Queen Square is presently available through the Bristol office of Colliers International.
