Leading property consultant CBRE has promoted Ashley Hancox to head up its National Office Agency Group.
Hancox, an executive director based at the firm’s Birmingham office, will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating CBRE’s Office Agency teams across its UK network; Scotland (Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow), the North (Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool), Midlands and South (Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton, and Jersey) and the South East, excluding Central London which is run by Emma Crawford.
He takes over the role from Rob Madden, who has lead the team since 2008. Madden has been appointed to the newly created role of head of Advisory & Transaction, National Team, overseeing all Office & Industrial market facing teams and Lease Consultancy, excluding Capital Markets. He will continue to work with on all projects he is currently responsible for and drive new business generation across the UK.
Ashley Hancox has more than 25 years’ experience in office consultancy, eight of which as head of CBRE’s office agency team in Birmingham. As national head of Office Agency, he will be responsible for driving strategy, implementing best practice, sharing knowledge and research, and growing the office agency business.
