The Manchester office agency team at property consultant JLL has secured the latest new occupier in at Woodlands Park on behalf of Morley Estates.
National security provider Kingdom has taken the whole of Willow House, totalling 12,750 sq ft as its new National Support Centre. The deal follows recent transactions to Oak Tyres and Bilfinger, who have joined existing tenants including Vimto owner Nichols plc, housing developer Miller Homes and digital infrastructure firm Jade Solutions. Over the past 12 months the park has secured over 45,000 sq ft of new occupiers.
Woodlands Park comprises six buildings and is located on Ashton Road, adjacent to J23 on the M6. Just one self-contained office of 8,753 sq ft – Beech House – and the ground floor within Hawthorn House comprising 3,450sq ft remain available to lease.
Richard Wharton, office agency director at JLL, said: “Woodlands Park has been one of the best performing office developments in the North West over the past 12 months. Its high standard of design and attractive parkland setting has made it a popular choice in the area and, for Kingdom, will provide the business with offices more befitting the business.”
Terry Barton of Kingdom commented: “We have been seeking new office accommodation for our businesses for some time and finally settled on Woodlands Park due to the quality of the office accommodation and the well managed estate, direct access to the M6 motorway and A580 East Lancs Road and the high speed internet links required by our growing organisation.”
JLL, BE Group & Altus Group are joint agents on the development.
