Following an instruction from Glenmore Commercial Estates, Lambert Smith Hampton Fareham has secured a letting to Flip Out UK in Chichester, which will bring the first indoor trampolining park to West Sussex. The 22,562 sq ft letting at the recently built Glenmore Business Park, Chichester has been signed on a ten-year lease.
Flip Out UK is the national branch of Flip Out Trampoline Arena, an Australian company, envisioned by CEO Brent Grundy as being a trampolining space for bouncers of all ages. The company offers party packages as well as fitness classes, bringing new sporting options to the residents of Chichester, with both ‘Little Ninjas’ classes for children and their ‘Flip Fit’ classes designed for adult health. The company now has 10 sites open across the UK, with the plan to increase to 40 by the end of 2017.
The high quality and prominence of the unit resulted in competition between potential occupiers with Flip Out paying a new rental level for the Park. The first phase of development at Glenmore Business Park is now over 75% Let/Sold, leaving the last few remaining units ranging from 1,037 to a possible 5,200 Sq Ft available to purchase Freehold or lease.
Tony Morpeth, Glenmore Commercial Estates commented: “We are thrilled to have secured this letting to Flip Out UK which demonstrates the broad appeal of this exceptionally well-located and prominent development.
Guy Jackson from Lambert Smith Hampton Fareham adds: “This letting is a clear demonstration of our ability to explore a variety of possible lettings solutions on behalf of our clients. Using our knowledge of both the industrial and leisure sectors we have been able to ensure the very best result for Glenmore and secure an exciting new tenant for the city of Chichester”.
