Lunson Mitchenall, the UK’s leading niche retail and leisure agent, has secured a second unit for fast growing restaurant brand, Limeyard, on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management at Two Rivers in Staines.
Limeyard, the all-day American dining concept, will be taking a 3,325 sq ft unit over two floors on a 20-year lease. This will be the first Limeyard in the portfolio for Côte Restaurants, since the brand was acquired by the French brasserie operator earlier this year alongside Jackson & Rye.
Limeyard will benefit from Two Rivers’ strong and growing footfall, which passes along Norris Road, and will sit alongside the recently launched Wagamama and Gourmet Burger Kitchen restaurants when it opens in Spring 2017. The brand will further cement the centre’s growing catering and leisure offer and provide an additional customer draw to the extensive retail line up which includes the likes of Next, TK Maxx, JD, SWAG, Wilko, Boots and Pure Gym. Two Rivers is jointly owned by client funds of Aberdeen Asset Management and M&G Real Estate.
This announcement comes as part of Limeyard’s wider expansion. The restaurant already has one other restaurant in Ealing and is looking for further outlets in the greater London region.
Simon Moscow, Aberdeen Asset Management, commented: “Limeyard will serve to enhance the already impressive food and beverage line up Two Rivers boasts. We have seen a real customer appetite for quality restaurants brands, following the successful launch of Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Wagamama, and have been working closely with our joint agents to develop our growing reputation for providing and morning to evening offer.”
George Oppenheim, Lunson Mitchenall, added: “Limeyard is a great addition to the catering line-up at Two Rivers. Over the last 12 months we have seen a record stream of lettings with over 84,500 sq ft of new space exchanging, bringing the scheme to 99 per cent let. The success we have seen on the catering and leisure side has been key to this, as we have worked to bring the centre more in line with the demands of its growing catchment.”
The 380,000 sq ft scheme, situated in Surrey, is anchored by Waitrose, Boots, Next, TK Maxx and Vue cinemas. Other food and beverage tenants include Pret, ASK Italian, TGI Friday’s, Nando’s and Costa Coffee.
Lunson Mitchenall and Morgan Williams are the joint agents for Two Rivers. Limeyard represented themselves.
