Commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), demonstrates commitment to growing its presence in Cambridge with a number of new recruits.
In the agency team, Nick O’Leary is appointed Director to head up the business space agency team. Previously, he was at Glenny, where he was Senior Associate in their investment team. Working alongside Nick will be Michael Wilson. Michael comes from Pocock & Shaw, prior to which he worked across central London markets.
Megan Taylor takes the position as Head of Property and Asset Management for LSH’s East region. She has held roles with GVA and Capita in London, where she managed a national portfolio for Royal London.
The valuation team builds on its local strength with the recruitment of Ian Lovett as Director. Before joining LSH, Ian spent 10 years working for CBRE in Spain as Head of Valuation overseeing their regional offices. He has also held positions with Natwest and Bidwells in Cambridge. Ian and the wider team will be supported by Tom Rushton, who joins from CBRE in London, where he worked for the EMEA hotels valuation team.
Peter Williams, Head of Office – Cambridge, commented: “LSH is dedicated to growing and expanding its operations in Cambridge and across the East region. Our recent move to more central offices at Carlyle House and this recruitment drive demonstrates that we are optimistic about the potential to grow our business in and around Cambridge. I look forward to working closely with the team over the coming months.”
Judith Sargent, Head of East Region, added: “LSH is investing in areas where it sees the potential for growth. As our 2016 ‘UK Vitality Index’ found, Cambridge with its vibrant economy and renowned reputation as a hub of scientific expertise has the best prospects for economic growth of any major UK destination outside London.”
