Retail surveyor at Innes England Kate Richardson is celebrating after achieving chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
After three years at the firm, Kate has passed the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) – a qualification that requires a minimum of two years’ structured training, including practical experience, leading to full membership of the RICS.
She said: “I’m so excited to have passed my APC, having spent the past couple of years working incredibly hard to achieve chartered status. It is something that is recognised widely across the industry and respected by colleague and clients alike.
“I have received a lot of support throughout the APC process and I am very proud to say that I am now ‘MRICS’ – I’m looking forward to continuing to develop my career here at Innes England.”
This is the latest success for Innes England’s RICS accredited training programme, which runs across the firm’s three regional offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.
Matthew Hannah, head of agency at Innes England, said: “Kate is a talented member of our team and we couldn’t be more pleased that she has qualified as a chartered surveyor; it is a real achievement and career milestone for her.
“Kate has been with us since graduating from university and we are very pleased to have been able to offer her the support she needed through our APC programme to build her career at Innes England.
“Attracting and nurturing talented young professionals is integral to our business and we are very proud of the work we continue to do in supporting graduates like Kate to gain chartered status.”
