The Bristol office of commercial property specialist Colliers International has strengthened its Investment Property Management team with the appointment of two trainee surveyors.
The team now stands at its highest ever level of seven, following the arrival of graduate surveyor Evan Whitson and promotion of Helen Margetson to assistant surveyor.
Mike Bull, head of the Bristol IPM team at Colliers International, said: “When I joined to head up the team in 2010 there were just three members. The growth of the team since then is in response to the increasing volume of instructions from a wide variety of landlord clients as we build upon our reputation for delivering a high standard of bespoke property and asset management.”
Evan Whitson is one of 24 graduates to be appointed under Colliers International’s two-year graduate training programme, during which he will undertake the RICS APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) training curriculum. He has previously worked in the firm’s London office under the summer internship programme.
Helen Margetson has been appointed as an assistant surveyor and will be combining her work with a three year distance study course before starting her APC in 2017.
The other members of the IPM team are surveyors Amy Bracey and Emma Stanbridge, and facilities managers Sven Rickauer, and James Oliver.
Tim Davies, head of the Bristol office, said: “Our priority is to provide a service tailored to the objectives of our clients, and the expansion of Investment Property Management Team will ensure we can respond to the requirements of new and existing clients while providing the highest quality of service.”
The growth of the Investment Property Management team at the Bristol office of Colliers International follows the recent expansion of the Valuation and Advisory, Industrial & Logistics and Planning teams following record growth during the first quarter of 2016, and prior to that the expansion of the National Offices team.
