The Birmingham office of leading property consultants Bruton Knowles has received a boost with the appointment of commercial property expert David Pugh as partner.
David was formerly a partner with King Sturge in Birmingham, prior to the firm’s merger with Jones Lang Lasalle in May last year. His skills are in professional services including non-domestic Rating, Landlord and Tenant, and Valuations.
With over 30 years’ property experience, David has in-depth knowledge of the Birmingham and Greater Midland’s commercial property market and offers particular expertise in healthcare, leisure and trading premises, as well as the general retail, industrial and office markets.
David will play a key role in the continuing expansion of Bruton Knowles’ commercial property team as Ian Pitt, partner at Bruton Knowles and head of the Birmingham office, explains: “David is a highly regarded and well-known property professional whose breadth of experience and expertise, particularly in ratings, will make him a huge asset to the team. David will be well placed to work with key clients in the Midlands and beyond, and support our busy commercial team.”
David commented: “Being part of a respected firm with a 150-year long tradition of providing property consultancy throughout the country is an exciting prospect, and I am passionate about helping to further grow Bruton Knowles’ presence across the Midlands and beyond.”
Prior to King Sturge, David was a director of property consultancy Aitchison Raffety for over ten years; he has also held senior roles at Lloyds TSB (Property Services) and property management consultancy Bright Willis.
