Focal Point, a five storey office building in Swindon town centre, has undergone a major refurbishment programme to create up to 35,000 sq ft of high quality accommodation which is now ready for occupation.
The building on Fleet Street was previously occupied by specialist insurance firm Gallagher Heath and subsequently sold at auction in early 2015 to private investors.
The new owners have invested in improved heating, air conditioning and security systems as well as new lifts and toilets. The property has also been redecorated throughout.
James Gregory, partner at Alder King said: “This building has been transformed and now offers very light, open plan floorplates of just under 7,500 sq ft, each with air conditioning and raised floors. Due to the layout, the floors can be divided to accommodate requirements from around 3,000 sq ft.
“In addition the refurbishment has created a number of smaller offices in the new business centre on the first floor so applicants from two people upwards will be welcome at Focal Point.”
Bradley Forbes, partner at Loveday, continued: “With Swindon’s vacant office stock at an all-time low, it is pleasing that our clients have painstakingly refurbished the property to provide much needed good quality office accommodation in the town centre. The building also has the added benefit of a Building Manager during business hours as well as valuable on site allocated car parking.”
