NJL Consulting has announced that Trafford Council’s Planning Committee has given the green light for the Trafford Waters development in Greater Manchester. Trafford Waters will be located adjacent to the intu Trafford Centre and will include 3,000 new homes, 80,000 sq.m of offices, a school, a carehome, hotels and supporting facilities. It will front the Manchester Ship Canal and include a ‘green’ bridge to the intu Trafford Centre. Trafford Waters represents a £1 billion investment by Peel Land and Property in Trafford and is expected to generate 5,000 jobs.
