Birmingham-based Blue Marble Asset Management (Blue Marble) has appointed a new property and asset manager.
Edd Stanton joins the real estate asset management specialist as a Senior Asset Manager from GBR Phoenix Beard, now part of Savills.
At Blue Marble Mr Stanton will provide the day-to-day and asset management for Whittington Hall, the 80,000 sq ft multi-let office business park in Worcester, as well as for a number of other industrial, office and mixed-used properties which Blue Marble asset manages for its investor clients across the UK. He will also advise on new leases, lease extensions and insurance mediation services.
Blue Marble Chief Executive Tim Matthews says: “Edd’s knowledge and experience will play a vital role in the continuing growth of Blue Marble, as we continue to expand our clients’ property portfolios. He will work with the rest of the team to maximise value and returns on our clients’ commercial property investments, working to an agreed business plan on each one.”

Based in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, Blue Marble Asset Management is a real estate asset management specialist which presently has more than £60 million of property assets under management. It works for a select range of clients including investment businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and family offices. Its business is based on taking a holistic view of each of its property investments.
In the last month (September 2016) Blue Marble acquired a 65,000 sq ft distribution warehouse in Coventry and a 23,000 sq ft industrial unit in Glasshoughton, West Yorkshire, both in off market deals and successfully negotiated new leases with tenants at a 20,000 sq ft industrial unit in Seaham, County Durham, and at a 13,500 sq ft industrial unit in Nottingham.
