Real estate advisors Colliers International have been appointed by property investment and development company MCR Property Group to market Altitude, Manchester’s best connected office scheme.
The Manchester office of Colliers joins commercial property and real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield and Canning O’Neill as agents on the 45,415 sq ft development on Atlas Business Park, at Manchester Airport.
Since acquiring Altitude in 2015, privately-owned MCR has undertaken a complete refurbishment of the building to provide occupiers with three floors of Grade A office suites ranging in size from 5,000 sq ft. The location offers in excess of 230 on-site car parking spaces and excellent road, tram and airport connectivity.
North West engineering consultancy Simon Carves became the first tenant to sign for space at Altitude, relocating from Simon House on Atlas to take 10,152 sq ft on the ground floor on a 10-year lease with an option to occupy a further 5,000 sq ft.
Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield and Canning O’Neill are seeking occupiers for the remaining available space at Altitude, consisting of 4,961 sq ft on the ground floor and 15,166 sq ft on both the first and second floors, giving total available space of 35, 923 sq ft at a rent of £16.50 per sq ft.
Altitude benefits from being located in a Government-backed Enterprise Zone, offering a business rates discount of up to £55,000 per annum.
Comprising 225,000 sq ft of office space, Atlas Business Park is home to national and international organisations including telecoms giant Vodafone, professional services consultancy Coffey International and the Civil Aviation Authority.
Dominic Pozzoni, director, national offices at Colliers in Manchester, said: “Altitude hits the heights by offering potential occupiers a winning combination of state-of-the-art office accommodation in a strategic location with outstanding transport connections to domestic and international customers and markets.
“MCR has undertaken a fantastic building refurbishment incorporating high quality design and finishes. The immediate accessibility to the airport combined with Enterprise Zone Status will be a key factor in attracting business to Altitude.”
